Multi-Camera Production

The images above show what a typical studio might look like for the production of a live tv event. The location must fulfill the requirements that are needed for your production so the basic requirements include;an electrical power supply on location, the location prefably needs to be soundproof so that outside noise doesn't interupt your filming, the location also needs to be light controlled so that only light that you want in the film will be in it.

This diagram shows how a Muti - camera productions vision and audio should be set up.And the diagram below it shows the the average crew size for a multi- camera production.

The digram on the left shows the hierarchy scale for multi-camera productions.

The diagram on the left shows the way in which a Multi-camera producion is ordered.

In our Live TV production rotation we have been split into 4 different groups with each group focusing on a round. My group is focusing on the music round, and my job in my group is Post-Production Producer which means that I have to gather all the video and music clips that we need for our round and to edit them so that they play at the right time for the right length of time. I have also been in charge of the music that will be used to introduce and end the show and that will be used if needed to link to other rounds.I have also created my own version of the title music which in the end was good even though it wasn't used in the final show shoot.I have also been helping to create the script for my group's round and we have decided in our group's round we were going to need VT and Audio inserts so I have found and cut the inserts so that we only have the section of Audio or VT that we will need for our round's questions.
